Is there any option in mybb to provide a anouncement in the front page or as a popup?

Sorry if it already available. I was not able to locate any. please suggest.

My purpose is to show a message to all who reach front page or when login - as a pop up.

Do you think it is worth doing one MOD when your time permits?

I know of one... but I'm currently transfering my forum to a new server so I can't see it currently

Anyway, the one I do have displays a message in a chocie of 3 colours, to show if it's important or not, which can be a message on the index or a pop-up (pop-up isn't coloured)... or if you look at community.mybboard.net there's an announcment plugin at the top there.
