Can someone explain to me the proper way of installing a banner (logo) in the header.

Yes you can install a banner by either saving the file to your images/theme/logo.jpg or link it using:

Acp->Templates&Style->Your theme->Edit Theme-> Above is CSS below is logo.

I did one on the Test Forum using I think, using
Ron.. the index file where logo is, I put the code there and it worked..

Never thought about the css file
