I want to offer 0.01 points per charecter in my forum.
However, your system does not imput this, because all the currency must display as a whole number.
The bug is caused when the per charecter count gets higher then 0.51 -> It automatically rounds it up to a point.
Any fix for this?
It's not a bug. You can add .01 points per char HOWEVER...unless the person earns at LEAST .5 they will not earn enough to get credit.
Currently MYPS does NOT support decimals but that's actually the very next thing I will be working on for next version.

Yes, but the problem is that they can earn 0.51 or 0.64 or 0.94 - it still gets rounded up to be "1"

I dont see how .5 credits should suddenly be worth a full credit. It should be .5
You aren't getting it are you....When I built MYPS decimal support was on the TODO list...it's just not done. You can make the credit .002 for all I care...it won't do you any good. MYPS in it's current state was NOT DESIGNED for decimal support.
I believe next version will have full support for decimals..then you can have 2134.324234234 if you want.
.5 is ROUNDED...to 1. You don't have to agree to that..it's just reality.

Because offering decimal support was LOW priority. I still personally don't see the need for it. MYPS is first and foremost something that I need for my sites. So I built the features I needed first.
I still don't see why having decimals really makes a difference. MYPS are points...not money with cents. IMHO...sites with decimals in their points are just wasting space. So since that's my opinion and MYPS is my plugin...it's LOW priority. However I do like to please people so next version....decimal support will be added...probably a week or two.
Keep in mind that Rome wasn't built in a day. So far MYPS has been 2 months in coding (off and on of course). I can't just make all the features everyone wants from day one.

Yeah, but I dont want to offer 1 point per character, do I? That would make my points currency value worth nothing.

Well..the way I see it the points per char is an incentive for someone to make longer posts. I personally would set the per char to something like .05 which means for every 20 characters they will earn a point. IMHO that's reasonable. And if you have it set for .01 then every 100 characters will earn a point (about a sentence I guess). If you use decimals on your site...then there is NO incentive to make a longer post. Short posts will still earn... posts like "yup" will get .03. There is also a setting in myps for minchar so that a post has to be a certain length before any myps can be earned.
Now adding decimal also confuses some people...as they suck at math (present company excluded I hope). Since points are not money....you won't see people doing trades or deals for 3.23 points...so again...why have the decimal at all. Now I realize that some will want it...so it's being added but let me reiterate. MYPS is first and foremost a plugin I need. I have dozens of sites and I need a good solid points system with certain features.
