I was wondering if when you recount if MYPS takes into account the donations, moderation, and such in the logs? Or if it could be possible to make it so that it does look at the logs when it recounts?

At this moment it only recounts the live things such as threads, posts, and so on ... Donations/moderations aren't included in the recount. It probably could be done, but aint my call for adding it into the core file =P

Well...Lex has a backup mod for the myps. I don't understand why you would need to rebuild based on the logs? Yes it's totally possible I guess but unless you really screw up myps column in the user table why would you need this?
When 1.4 comes out it will have a jobs module for creating automatic jobs (like backups). I am sure MYPS 2.0 will have some automatic backups.
