I installed it as it said but when i try to goto the MYPS block at the end of the admin cp then when i click on either logs or options i get the following message

MyBB Error
Access Denied
You do not have permission to access this part of the administration control panel.

is there anything im missing ?

By changing his adminpermission of 'caneditmyps' to yes =P

And where did he change that? I can't find it.

ACP - Users & Groups - AdminPermissions - click on "Edit" of the user you want to edit (in this case yourself) and change "Can Manage MYPS" to yes.
