Recently I have been seeing some forums with a default message when you begin a new thread. It's handy to enforce rules, to remind members of posting ettiquete, or for a template for sales forums.

So...took some time today to whip this out. Works good.

License is GNU/GPL attached inside extras folder.

Interesting idea. So you can set up a message for just one forum or more? I might have to play around with it a bit on my test forum. Big Grin
You can set up any forum with any default message.
Thanks Man That's Pretty Useful / But Will This Message Be Posted In The Post If A User Forgets To Delete It or Remove It?
Yes it will be added to the post. I could probably write something to check if it's in a preview and have it removed. However one has to be a complete idiot not to delete it.
LOL...that is true, but you know there will be people who will forget to remove it! Wink
Excellent! I'll use this on my forums. Big Grin
Thanks labrocca
this is cool
Labrocca...have you changed it any so that it is removed when an actual post/reply is made? I know some of the younger people in my guild will not remember to remove it out of their post....

if so, I'll definitely use this plugin on my forums.
