How excactly do you install plugins?
And how do you use FTP?

Just about every plugin I've seen has the files in the folders that they need to go in on your forum. Using FTP, upload them into those folders. If they aren't in a folder, they go in the root forum folder. Most also come with readmes which tell you any necessary things you must do. After all the files have been uploaded, you go into the Admin CP -> Plugin Manager, find the plugin you just uploaded and click Activate. The plugin should then work, and if you need to add or change things, it might have it's own section in the Change area in the AdminCP.
