Actually that's a bug the stretching...change the span to div in the postbit functions of the plugin and that should take care of that.

I mean stretching it downwards Big Grin I use the classic postbit and obviously, the more awards there are the longer it's going to get ...

(Feb 22, 2009, 04:34 PM)labrocca Wrote: You should be able to edit postbit template.

Somewhere in this probably:

<span class="smalltext">
{$post['usertitle']}<br />
{$post['userstars']}
{$post['groupimage']}
</span>

Then you have to change the function in inc/plugins/my_awards.php

$post['user_details'] = str_replace("<!-- AWARDS -->", $awards, $post['user_details']);

To

$post['postbit'] = str_replace("<!-- AWARDS -->", $awards, $post['postbit']);

I think that will do it...you may need to alter that plugin more but I think it's right. Let me know.

(Feb 22, 2009, 05:39 PM)ycmaker Wrote: That didn't seem to work. The <!-- AWARDS --> placeholder appears on the page source, but it isn't being replaced by the function.

Update: I found a way around this problem. I added:

{$post['userawards']}

to the template, and replaced

$post['postbit'] = str_replace("<!-- AWARDS -->", $awards, $post['postbit'])

with

$post['userawards'] = $awards;

(Feb 22, 2009, 06:34 PM)labrocca Wrote: That works too. Smile

btw...try just placing {$awards} in your template. Curious if that will work because it should.

Then you can get rid of the str_replace for faster parsing.

hope I helped Wink

Can i see the badges in the profile?
if yes how i must do?

RE: My Awards 1.2 - labrocca - Mar 02, 2009

In the profile itself it's not shown. There is a link though to the awards earned near reputation. If you want the images shown in profile you will need to alter the plugin file. At this time I am not offering instructions on those changes.

Hi, i am very new to coding, trying to install this plugin. I host my site on 110mb and was wondering how to create/upload the folder /root/uploads/awards/ and i am also puzzled about what cmmod /root/uploads/awards/ to 777 means could you explain in real basic language!! please!

RE: My Awards 1.2 - MattR - Mar 06, 2009

Basically just navigate to the ./uploads/ folder, and make a new folder called awards. CHMOD is basically just permissions, it needs to be written to etc, and there shoould be an option to set CHMOD settings or change the permissions, it needs to be 777 or rwxrwxrwx, depending on how they do it.

RE: My Awards 1.2 - TrulyKing - Mar 06, 2009

so i need to upload the folder to 110mb?

Thanks for quick reply btw
