Plugin Description:  This will reset all member passwords except of superadmin and then email it to each member.


1. Upload the 2 files from the zip


2. Login to your admincp and ACTIVATE the plugin (Password Reset) in the plugin manager.

3. You will see the new menu item called "Reset Passwords" under "Users and Usergroups".

The rest is self explantory.

It does NOT have language support. It is hard coded english.  Next update I will add language support.

Any suggestions on how to improve this plugin are welcome.

This is great for when converting from forum scripts to MyBB. It'll cut out a process of clicking it to send a new password. Smile Nice. Smile

Sounds like a good idea. But one needs to know examples of cases in which this plugin would be of help.

I made this when I converted a forums to mybb and the conversion did not bring over new passwords. Also this might be good if your forums is hacked and you want everyone to get a new password.

Definitely gives them good incentive to provide valid email addresses (not some account they create to register and then never go back), doesn't it? Without that, they can't get their new password! LOL Tongue
