Prune Members
#1
License is GNU/GPL attached inside extras folder.

Plugin Name: Prune Members
Plugin Author: Jesse Labrocca
Plugin Website: http://www.MybbCentral.com
Plugin Version: 1.1
Plugin Mybb Compatibility: 1.2
Plugin File Edits: None
Plugin File Uploads: 2
Plugin Description: This will allow you to prune all inactive or zero post membersin the admincp with one button.

Installation

1. Upload the 2 files from the zip

root/admin/prune.php
root/inc/plugins/prune_members.php

2. Login to your admincp and ACTIVATE the plugin (Prune Members) in the plugin manager.

3. You will see the new menu item called "Prune Members" under "Users and Usergroups".

It does NOT have language support. It is hard coded english.

Any suggestions on how to improve this plugin are welcome.  Some ideas I have are:

1.  adding stats to remember how many members were deleted
2.  adding a contact to email all unactive members that will also resend their validation email
3.  adding support for deletion by date

I also want to thank tikitiki for some assistance he gave me.  Thank you sir.  This was my first admincp plugin but now that I am more familiar I hope to make more.

[b]UPDATE June 25,2007[b]
New version 1.1 released with added support for X days for lastvisit deletion. Upgrade and Changelog are within the 1.1 download.

Thank you.
Jesse Labrocca

If I prune members who've made posts will it delete their posts as well?
#6
This tool prunes members without posts.

There is a different plugin to delete all posts from a members. Why would you want to prune in bulk members with posts?

Well, I hope you do update this with the option to resend activation email to members who haven't activated their accounts.

Have those of you that have downloaded tested this? I used another prune mod that didn't work, and others even complained that it over pruned and they lost most of their member list (with the other mod)! LOL...wouldn't want that to happen. Would love some feedback on how well this mod works! Thanks!

I tested this and used it a number of times with no ill results.

And yea...it would be nice mod to send activation emails to those inactive. I might make that a seperate plugin though.
