Mybboard Goes 1.4
So it's been done. The mybboard.net official community forum is now running version 1.4.
It's going to be a wild month I think since I will be working VERY hard to update dozens of plugins as well as themes. This is going to be a long hard couple months for me. It's exciting though. Let's hope that 1.4 is everything we all hoped for and more. CLICK HERE to find out more about a custom theme design for mybb. |

RE: Mybboard Goes 1.4
My happiness will be complete when it comes with a WYSIWYG text editor

RE: Mybboard Goes 1.4
That will never happen. You can add one yourself if you want it that badly.

RE: Mybboard Goes 1.4
So does that mean theres a month left before the official release of 1.4? I only gathered that because of you saying that it'll be a hard month to update all your plugins.
I just hope you don't try to upgrade all of them at once if it's too much work, I'd just rather see the most popular ones updated first and the rest at a later point of time.

Matt_ Wrote:labrocca Wrote:That will never happen. You can add one yourself if you want it that badly. Why wouldn't they do it?? Because they are smart enough to know it's a bad idea. Go try and start a thread about it...or read the many threads there already discussing it. It's not a well received idea and for many good reasons. Hey I could be wrong...maybe in some distant future it will be added but I will forever believe it's a dump idea. Posts are NOT web pages and they do not need a wysiwyg editor. What would a wysiwyg do that mycode doesn't? CLICK HERE to find out more about a custom theme design for mybb. |

There however are plans for one in a future release.I agree that it isn't really worth it, but I can see why people would want one. Would be better as a plugin than a proper feature IMO. ![]() |

RE: Mybboard Goes 1.4
How about the myBB group creates an official plug in for it at a later release?
