Yes it will be. That's a fault of Mybb as it uses a name instead of the number.

This is not working for me... i downloaded it, and extracted refer.php, and uploaded it into my plugins directory. When I login to admin section, and click on plugins, it starts to load the page, and then stops.

If I delete refer.php then the plugins page works again...

Any ideas?

Make sure you uploaded all the right files to the right directories. I have a feeling you have it wrong.

Found the issue...

It says to upload:

root/refer.php
root/inc/plugins/easyrefer.php
root/inc/languages/english/refer.lang.php

But my file only has refer.php in there... I tried to download it twice... any ideas?

They're there for me, look in the 'inc' folder....

If it isn't showing for you maybe your archive extractor is messed up but it's definitely there.
