RE: My Meta Tags 2.0
Meta tags are probably the second most important SEO tool, behind the page title.

Is there any way that we could get an updated version of this script, that includes dynamic keywords? There are a few pre-made scripts that do this:
http://www.harveykane.com/articles/28/au...-keywords/

I've just never been able to shoe-horn them into mybb

RE: My Meta Tags 2.0
The meta tags are already dynamic grabbing the content from the thread title.

I thought that it used dynamic descriptions, and static keywords? I was hoping to have dynamic keywords as well.

Thanks man!

RE: My Meta Tags 2.0
And how would you propose dynamic keywords? Dynamic keywords would be very hard to generate and resource intensive.

Keywords are also the lesser important meta tag too.

I agree that keywords are less important than descriptions, but they are still useful. There are scripts avaliable to generate keywords, such as this one:
http://www.harveykane.com/articles/28/au...-keywords/
Please note that this script is GPL and free to use.

Also, other forums like vbulletin create dynamic keywords (here's an example from my Jeep forum:
http://www.jeepz.com/forum/cj-yj-tj-jk/2...gears.html

I know it would be tough to implement, but I think it would be worthwile.

RE: My Meta Tags 2.0
That's actually an easy function to add. But not sure the results would be very good on a forum. Maybe I will experiment with it but not right now.
