WARNING::: Do not share the methods of this plugin with others. I also hope to add more methods but I have found these to be helpful in prevention of proxy use on my sites. I have added more information as part of the readme.txt so please read it again.

Installation

1. Upload the file from the zip

root/inc/plugins/my_proxy_killer.php

2. Login to your admincp and ACTIVATE the plugin (My Proxy Killer) in the plugin manager.

That's it.

Man i have been waiting for this one for a while. Cheers Labrocca. And some members on other forums complain about donating or subscribing.
Well here is why. You get special little things like this. Thanks more than words Labrocca.

Is it ok if i edit the code. Specifically i want to write to a file when someone gets the proxy error message? I have already got a monitor system sorted out and only need to add a few lines of code i think lol.
But my question is? Can i add to your code?

lol...if you notice in the file I have a place holder for "logging" Smile

And my license allows you to edit the code however you wish but you can't redistribute.

I did notice the logging in the script. I thought that was mainly for upcoming updates. More your notes.
Cool thanks for that. I will have a play. And goes without saying never redistribute to be sure.
Although presently i can access with a proxy, but could well be my settings and will play further.

Am I missing something here? I went to the demo site using hidemyass.com and everything worked as normal. Is this supposed to work when you go to the registration page or when you click submit?
