RE: My Side Boxes
I've got it running but for some reason am not getting the who's online box. The only change I made was to delete the Latest Threads because it was showing threads from an Admin only forum which I do not want my regular members to see. All I did though was remove that from the template. The Who's Online was not showing up before I made that change. Any thoughts???
Thanks!!! ETA: I figured out my problem. I had the "who's online" turned off in the 'portal' turned it back on and all is perfect!!! |

Quote:so i look in templets in the acp and then look for MySideBox if so i cant find this in my acp Use the search template by name more often. It's a lot quicker and will display all instances of the template for all themes. I also use the search too. IMHO regular mybb admins don't use these enough. They are fast and simple. |

RE: My Side Boxes
Same with the search on the settings page, a lot of people don't even know it's there and that's a great tool.

You have to tell it where to show in the portal settings. ACP > Configuration > Portal Settings > last 2 settings there. It's set to show nowhere as default. Choose either left or right, and then index only or index and forum display.
