RE: Prune Members 2.0
I have a little idea - how about automate process of prunning with Task Manager? Will be good, when you'll add function for "fixed" settings for Task Manager.

I think that's dangerous. Maybe in the future when the task system is less buggy. Do you really want to risk the tasks deleting a bunch of accounts and you wouldn't notice till you logged into much later? With manual you see the action immediately and if a mistake occurs hopefully you can correct it.

Also the way it's now has a check for making sure you really want to prune.

RE: Prune Members 2.0
This should definitely be part of MyBB by default. I really need a plugin like this, but due to the lack of available funding, I am unable to subscribe to get this, so I guess I'm gonna have to find some other way to prune the unvalidated accounts on my board. [Image: icon_shrug.gif] Thanks anyways.

If you need it so badly, try the 100 posts at webmasterforums.biz offer, I think it's still up Smile (max. 30 posts in off-topic forums, and 2 lines overall for each post).
That's how I got mine.

Oh and, great thing. I agree with Sephiroth, should be a MyBB default feature.

100 posts on a forum is way too much for me to do in a short amount of time, considering it took me roughly six years on another forum to build up a single 1,000 posts. I don't see why one must charge users for things that are plugins of an open source forum solution, but I kinda find it rather pointless. I mean, come on, make me an exception as this is the ONLY plugin I need off this site. The rest I don't need.

But if not, be that way. Thanks anyways, Labrocca.

RE: Prune Members 2.0
Ugh, it's how labrocca makes his money. If he makes an exception for you, absolutely everybody will want the same treatment and it would be chaos. If the small amount of $5 isn't appropriate, 100 posts is a very reasonable offer too. Not everything in life is free. MyBB Central isn't part of MyBB, just because MyBB is free and open source doesn't mean content here does.

All of this has been said many times before...

RE: Prune Members 2.0
Hey guys,

Is there any log file that store actions made by prune members? For instance I prune members, how do I know who was pruned- it only says X number users pruned after running the script and admin log doesn't show it. In addition any way to run it without deleting so you can see a report of who would be deleted and then authorize the deletion seperately? Apologies if its a newbie question.

Thanks
