Plugin Description: This locks a post from editing once it's been edited by a moderator. Added staff only warning message.

Installation

1. Upload the file from the zip

root/inc/plugins/lasteditlock.php

2. Login to your admincp and ACTIVATE the plugin (Last Edit Lock) in the plugin manager.

Now moderators can edit a post and the member will be unable to edit the post again. I have always wanted something like this but in my head I had not figured out a good method until today. This is perfect for giving warnings and not worrying about the warning being deleted.

Troubleshooting:
Please make sure that the settings under "Posting"; "Show 'edited by' Message for Forum Staff" and "Show 'edited by' Messages" is set to YES.

CHANGELOG:
v2.0 April 8,2009- Added a staff only warning message so that mycode can be added to a post by staff and it's not editable. The mycode cannot be used by anyone but staff even in a quote. Alter the message and css directly in the plugin file insidee the staff_warn function.

ok something is wrong, i tested this mod and it is not stopping the user from editting

is there something that i am missing to get this plugin to work

i have activated this plugin but it did not stop the user from editting again after i edited it ?

Oh...let me ask though. Do you have the setting for "Show 'edited by' Message for Forum Staff" set to YES? If not make sure it is as that may be the issue.

Ok your enabled and staff and users is enabled, but it does not give any other option when editting someones post still ?
