I have a weird thing that happens to my sigs. Its call moderation lol
I guess there is nothing about 301 redirection from index to root.
What link is not to root?

Show me what page it is...

Are you sure you saved the file?
No I talking about "Here, try my tutorial:
Hope that helps. "

There is nothing there.

However I followed the steps you said labrocca, but unfortunately nothing changed.

Oh, sorry! Let me just show you what is in the tutorial then:
Here's an example I have:
PHP Code:
Redirect /board/longurl/download/crazyguy.php?=why
I just don't get it.

Can you guide me on how to redirect from

Code: to
#19 worked...your breadcrumb on threads goes to root /. However your header image/logo you have not changed. That's inside the header template. That should do it. Where else is pointing to index.php?

As far as I know that's the only 2 places. I have changed this myself in the past. It's a poor SEO design to have to going to index.php instead of root.

btw..can you add your site to your profile so it's clickable from posts? I might have to make that mandatory since too often people don't post their forum to view the problem.
First of all thx for the reply Smile

Here is my header template

<div id="container">
        <a name="top" id="top"></a>
        <div id="header">
            <div class="logo"><a href="{$mybb->settings['bburl']}/"><img src="{$theme['logo']}" alt="{$mybb->settings['bbname']}" title="{$mybb->settings['bbname']}" /></a></div>
        <div id="content">
                        <br />

I removed the index.php but still its showing. I removed from the global too. Not sure why its showing up.
Ok I guess it has something to do with the theme. With greennight theme the link seems fine.
