Sorry, that was generally said...
I mean, older browsers can't see roundings with CSS3 for example so images would be better but images slow down the loading...
Just talked about the balance between these two problems and how to face it.

I'm absolutely sure your theme will look awesome in any browser and you'll have the right balance.
