SMF is a terrible choice to go from Mybb. It's not a smooth transition at all. At best you could move to IPB or VB but SMF? That's like buying a BMW and trading it in for a Hyundai.

I did have a VB licence but it's horrible, but everyone is entitled to their opinions. The most attaractive thing about SMF is the addon community it's large and pretty easy to get into. I attempted my first addons with myBB last night and it's going smooth.

Oh and I'm not a car type of guy myself Wink

I agree that VB is a poor choice but it's still better than SMF.

Yes but since Mybb has more in base package there is less need for addons.

Some people enjoy having the control of building from a base, I guess I could use arch Linux as an example here, more doesn't always mean better. Cool
