Install:

• Upload mnp.php into your ./inc/plugins/ folder
• Go to Your Plugins Manager and Activate/Install the "Moderate First Posts/Threads" Plugin
  

What:
Allows You To Moderate Users First Posts/Threads So Spam Can Be Prevented.

Hi, having a small problem with this plug.. A new user comes on, makes 3 posts, which shows up in his post count (the posts havent been approved yet) so i go and approve the same three posts, which then turns this new users post count into 6 even though they have only done 3 posts.

Any idea how to stop this

Supposing this isnt inplememted,

Display a message saying, blah blah your posts are being moderated for another step to prevent spam, they will stop being moderated after you have 5 succesfull approved messages blah

Excellent plugin.
Just a suggestion for an update...choose a group to moderate, instead of just new users.
For example, I have a group on one of my forums called "Moderated!". This is the group in which any members that are causing trouble or spamming are placed into. They have fewer forum privileges than the regular groups. It would be nice to moderate the posts of anyone in this particular group.

Works great but I am not exactly sure what to expect. If I have min posts/threads =1 does that mean that after 1 post and 1 thread that I have approved will the user have full rights to post anytime? Or do I explicitly have to unlock the user? Thanks

Ok so heres the deal. I love it when developers take the time to create something, but cant spend 10 minutes to fully document it. I know because I work in embedded software.

You need to create a new group. I.E. I called it something like Veteran Registered. You then need to create a "group promotion", so that people are automatically promoted to Veteran Registered group when the exceed a certain number of posts from default group Registered. In the moderate settings, you need to exclude the group number for veteran registered. Walla, thats it. Once they are promoted the plugin doesnt effect this group. I challenge anyone to tell me where in the documentation it says this, because I couldnt find it.
