Great job Labrocca, as you probably have seen on SF I was trying to develop this exact same plugin, but was having issues with a white screen when uploading and trying to activate. Great job, you saved me several hours (probably) of reading over my code trying to find what was throwing the wobbly.

Twitter plugins stopped working
now everytime i enter it's asking me for a API code
I'm getting an error after trying to deactivate this plugin. The settings for this plugin aren't showing up after attempting to deactivate. I am hoping to deactivate and re-activate to reset the plugin.
Code: MyBB has experienced an internal SQL error and cannot continue. OK, here's a followup. I have in essence a partially-installed plugin, and need assistance in getting it going again. Here's what I think happened: After installation, I noticed that I was not seeing the latest tweets in the test user profile. Then, I did notice that there were more that one instance of a twitter username field in the userCP options. (I later discovered that this was another twitter plugin that added the field into the user CP.) Thinking that I had created a custom field beforehand, I looked and found a custom user field in the admin cp, and deleted it. Now I believe that perhaps this plugin had created the field, and thus failed to deactivate when I tried. However, it must have managed to uninstall portions of itself, because now I have no settings group, and the plugin remains "activated." How can I extract myself from this mess?
Did you change the name of the profile name from "Twitter" or delete it before deactivating the plugin?

Perhaps I should create the custom field again, then change the fid to match the custom field number- then run deactivation again?
Update: I opened up the mytweets.php file and manually added everything back into the DB- and it worked... whew ![]() ![]()

Thanks

You want a way to turn it off? Then just disable post and profile tweets.
