MySideBox plugin Q

Plugin seems be working fine and theres no problem. In the plugin's thread, labrocca has shown a way to add new boxes manually. What I want to ask is here:

The way labrocca has defined the variable like
{$welcomebox}
{$pmsbox}
{$searchbox}
{$latestthreadsbox}

If I want to create A NEW var called {$friends} and then define the value of friends somewhere else to keep the main template clean, how wud i go about that?

You'd need to define it in the plugin file like all the other boxes are defined.

What will be in $friends?

You can also just add straight html to the template of MySideBoxes under global templates.
