This site isn't that big.
SupportForums.net is 5 times more active than this site and it's on the exact same host. I actually have a couple dozens sites on my DH account with relatively few problems. If it wasn't for the DDOS attack I could run MyBBCentral on DH forever.
I would say 100k-250k posts is when you want to consider VPS/Dedicated for MyBB. I know that VB is resource intensive and even smaller forums buckle under it's load.

My gut says no since basically I'm just too damn busy all the time. Plus I'm very tired of people cloning my sites. It's making me believe that things I create for my own forums are best not released.

I don't have time right now to offer DDOS protection services. Sorry. I just manage my own sites right now.

I personally think if Labrocca and more people would make/release more "cooler" "intensive" plugins this site would see a bit more traffic.

Don't worry with 1.6 around the corner I'm sure mybbcentral will rise again in activity. Most people just get their plugins, take the support if they cant get it to work and then occasionally pass by to see if anything is new. Once 1.6 comes out and people have to redownload the upgraded plugins maybe then we will see a rise in activity again.
Im sure Labrocca will release a few plugins once he gets the inspiration. Right now there isn't much to create and really isn't needed since central already has its infamous plugins which are trademarked here like the tabs. I hope Labrocca doesn't let these copycats discourage him from releasing plugins.
