I can register all my domains at GoDaddy, for several reasons. First, they are about the cheapest place online to do so. Second, if every change hosting providers, you will be very glad you have your domain registered elsewhere. It becomes much easier.

Russell has a good point always best to keep your hosting separate from your domain registrar.

its like not having all your eggs in one basic and leaves you more in control.

Also cheap isnt always best! Ive heard about registrar companies like uk2.net that offer cheap domains but lock you into tight t&cs and when the prices double up you end up having to renew again before you can move or pay a admin fee to unlock your domain for transfer.

Always choose a domain registrar company that allows you to unlock and fully manage your domain to enable transfer.

I run my own reseller hosting company which we allow full access to unlock your domains etc

We are not the cheapest on domain names but thats not what we market the business. If you have a domain name already it might be worth checking us out.

Contact any registrar for domain name. I think the best place for it register.com or godaddy.com.
These are reliable names in hosting and registering domains at low cost.

I use justhost.com for my domain/host. It is about $130/year for a domain with "unlimited" traffic/storage. "unlimited" means there are restrictions but I haven't hit any problems yet at a few gigs of space used

I paid for multiple years so I got it cheaper than what your paying though, not sure exactly though.

I think it should be like this. Namecheap is best IMO. Easy to use and provides me with a lot of options. Godaddy is cheaper, though. But I'd rather stick with the best. Domains are very cheap either way.
