Isn't it possible to make this without core edits? Also, you should include a set of options (check boxes).

Example:

[ ] Positive
[ ] Neutral
[ ] Negative

[Submit]


You check each box for each you want to remove. That way you can choose positive, neutral, and/or negative reputations to be removed on the fly.

Another note, if your button doesn't have a javascript confirmation box (didn't check your files) then it should. It is WAY to close to 'Add Rating' button to not have one. Mistakes and mis-clicks can happen.
