Need some help with a template issue (Subforum)
#1
Recently i integrated a new template in my forums but i got a small problem. The subforum section isn't what i really want. Could someone explain me how i can merge the 'last post' with 'Posts' so that the "Server downtime explained
08-15-2011 05:03 AM
by powpow31" fills that whole empty at the right side?

Here's a picture showing how it is right now:

Would really appreciaite it if someone could help me,
Thank you in advance.
Regards, Pk3r_Pjer.

That theme's problem is a little bigger.

The Server downtime explained is supposed to be there, but there's too much space somewhere. The random one in the middle of that area is supposed to be threads, and the four is supposed to be posts.

Look at these two templates, and see what works:

forumdisplay_subforums

forumbit_depth2_forum

Wouldn't know how to edit these themes sided settings so here's 2 pastebin logs from forumdisplay_subforums and forumbit_depth2_forum.

forumdisplay_subforums:

forumbit_depth2_forum:
http://pastebin.com/TRwAYv93

Thank you for your assistance, really appreciate it.

The forum name needs an extra colspan value added to it.
EG colspan="1" needs to be colspan"2"

Ill update this post when I have a look at the code later today Smile

Try these:

forumbit_depth2_forum
Code:
<tr>
<td class="{$bgcolor}" align="center" valign="top" width="1"><img src="{$theme['imgdir']}/{$lightbulb['folder']}.gif" alt="{$lightbulb['altonoff']}" title="{$lightbulb['altonoff']}" class="ajax_mark_read" id="mark_read_{$forum['fid']}" /></td>
<td class="{$bgcolor}" valign="top">
<strong><a href="{$forum_url}">{$forum['name']}</a></strong>{$forum_viewers_text}<div class="smalltext">{$forum['description']}{$modlist}{$subforums}</div>
</td>
<td class="{$bgcolor}" valign="top" align="center" style="white-space: nowrap">{$threads}{$unapproved['unapproved_threads']}</td>
<td class="{$bgcolor}" valign="top" align="center" style="white-space: nowrap">{$posts}{$unapproved['unapproved_posts']}</td>
<td class="{$bgcolor}" valign="top" align="right" style="white-space: nowrap">{$lastpost}</td>
</tr>

forumdisplay_subforums
Code:
<table border="0" cellspacing="{$theme['borderwidth']}" cellpadding="{$theme['tablespace']}" class="tborder">
<tr>
<td class="thead" colspan="6" align="center"><strong>{$lang->sub_forums_in}</strong></td>
</tr>
<tr>
<td class="tcat" width="2%">&nbsp;</td>
<td class="tcat" width="59%"><span class="smalltext"><strong>{$lang->forumbit_forum}</strong></span></td>
<td class="tcat" width="7%" align="center" style="white-space: nowrap"><span class="smalltext"><strong>{$lang->forumbit_threads}</strong></span></td>
<td class="tcat" width="7%" align="center" style="white-space: nowrap"><span class="smalltext"><strong>{$lang->forumbit_posts}</strong></span></td>
<td class="tcat" width="15%" align="center"><span class="smalltext"><strong>{$lang->forumbit_lastpost}</strong></span></td>

Dont suppose you could set up an admin account for me?
