Plugin Description: Ads a system specs link in postbit as an image that will create a popup. Usercp nav item to enter your system details included.



Installation

1. Upload the file from the zip

root/inc/plugins/myspecs.php
root/inc/languages/english/myspecs.lang.php
root/images/computer.png

2. Login to your admincp and ACTIVATE the plugin (My Specs) in the plugin manager.

3. This is language compatible. Simply move the language file to the proper folder and edit.

TROUBLESHOOTING: If you have template problems there are only 2 changes you need to make:

Template "usercp_nav_profile"

Find: </tbody>

Before it add:

<tr><td class="trow1 smalltext"><a href="usercp.php?action=myspecs" class="usercp_nav_item" style="background:url(images/computer.png) no-repeat left center;">My Specs</a></td></tr>

Template "postbit_author_user"

Add {system_specs} to the end or wherever you want it displayed

Is it possible, doubtless, to make this for the profile instead of the postbit? DO I need to just add the above code to the profile template instead of the postbit?

Right now this isn't profile ready but maybe next version.

As for customizing the data. You can replace certain titles just by altering the lang file so let's say you want to just replace Power Supply with Television...then you can. However if you want to totally alter the data you will need to make php adjustments to the plugin which I am not prepared to offer instructions. If you look at the code you might understand what to do. You have to change the php and the templates to reflect that data you want.
